Insulation boards of 10 to 20 cm on the outer wall, a reinforcement layer and a decorative finishing layer. Certified system from a single supplier, with system warranty.

White or graphite EPS, 12 to 20 cm thick. We work out what every centimetre delivers in Rd value and set two thicknesses side by side in the quote, so that you choose for yourself.

Subsidies & 6% VAT

Honest about what you do and don't get

Overpromised subsidies are the biggest source of disappointment in our industry. That's why we tell it like it is — and build your facade's value on comfort, savings and 6% VAT, not on a subsidy.

6% VAT — for most homes

The reduced rate applies when:

your home is older than 10 years
it is mainly used as a private residence
material and installation are supplied by the same contractor
the invoice is addressed to the end user

VediWorks always supplies material and installation together, so you don't lose the rate — which can happen with a DIY approach.

Mijn VerbouwPremie — the 2026 situation

Since March 2026: no more subsidy for wall insulation for the two highest income categories
Income category 3 (€24,750–43,240 single, €37,110–60,520 household): up to 35% of the invoice amount, max. ± €3,500
Lowest income category (up to €24,750 single, €37,110 household): up to 50%, max. ± €5,000
Cap of 100 m² for wall and roof insulation

What homeowners ask us

What does facade insulation cost per m²?

For external wall insulation finished with render, expect roughly €110 to €150 per m² excl. VAT, including material and installation. Render without insulation costs roughly €40–80/m², facade painting roughly €25–45/m², brick slips roughly €200–280/m². The exact price depends on surface area, substrate, detailing (windows, sills, overhangs) and access — which is why a free on-site visit always follows the online estimate.

Can I still get a subsidy for wall insulation in 2026?

Since March 2026, the two highest income categories no longer receive the Mijn VerbouwPremie subsidy for wall insulation. For lower income categories the subsidy remains available (up to 35% or 50% of the invoice amount, with maximum amounts and a cap of 100 m²). We help with your application, but never promise a subsidy you might not receive. If you are in category 2, you can still finance the work through Mijn VerbouwLening at 1.5% — that application must be made before the first invoice.

Does the 6% VAT rate apply?

Yes, for homes older than 10 years that are mainly used as a private residence, when material and installation are supplied by the same contractor and invoiced to the end user. VediWorks always supplies material and installation together, so you don't lose the reduced rate.

How does the 2-minute facade price work?

You choose your home type, number of storeys, current facade condition and desired finish, upload a few photos and leave your email address. You immediately receive an indicative price range. This is an estimate, not a binding quote: that follows after a free on-site visit, because substrate, detailing and access determine too much to promise from a photo alone.

Do I need a permit for external wall insulation?

External insulation makes the facade 10 to 20 cm thicker. For a facade on the building line, on public land or on the property boundary (semi-detached and terraced homes), a notification or permit may be required. We assess this during the site visit and help with the planning steps.

How much can I save with facade insulation?

External wall insulation typically saves 30 to 35% on heating costs, roughly €350 to €600 per year for an average home. On top of that comes more comfort in summer and winter, a better EPC energy label (renovation obligation) and a facade built to last another 30 years.
